Buckingham Palace.
Formally WOII Drum Major of The Honourable Artillery Company and currently a side drummer with The Yorkshire Corps of Drums and The Honourable Artillery Company and Drummers Association.
Greg joined the Territorial Army in April 1971 initiatially serving with The 10th Bn Parachute Regiment then transferring to The Honourable Artillery Company Corps of Drums in 1975.After successfully completing the Drum Majors Course at The Guards Depot Greg was appointed Drum Major of The HAC in 1980.Through this period the Drums had the privilege of Mounting Guard at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle,playing at The Festival of Remembrance at The Royal Albert Hall and participating in The Lord Mayors Show in London every year. Greg's TA service took him to Holland, Germany,The United States and Canada.Following his service in the Drums Greg held the appointments of Drill Sergeant, Regimental Quartermaster Sergeant and completed his service as Captain(QM) in 1992. Greg is a founder member of the Corps of Drums Society and a co author of the Army's Drummers Handbook.
